About The Customer Questionaire
The customer questionaire is otherwise known as Property Information Questionaire (PIQ), it will be sent with the contact to you once the EPC is ordered.
The PIQ will contain questions regarding the property to be assessed, please take time to fill it out carefully as this will aid the Energy Assessor in more accurate data collection. I
t will have basic questions regarding age of building, age of services (boiler, heater, etc), age of any extensions. Once this is completed you can either send it back to us or you may hand it to the Energy Assessor before the assessment.
When the assessor will come to do the assessment he will need a signed copy of the contract prior to commencement. This is to make sure the assessor is abiding by the law.
Payment for the EPC is required before the release of the certificate or its report, please note that the EPC will not be registered on the goverments database until payment is confirmed. Ideally the payment should be received before the assessment takes place.
